Ittiam's video communications portfolio covers a product range from desktop media phones to high-end enterprise class video conferencing solutions including highly specialised converged media applications. The suite spans across multiple platforms and resolutions - up to full-HD, contains single processor and multi processor solutions as well as various specialised video-engines and multipoint-control units for HD conferencing.
The suite is built around a common core - the Video Communications System (VCS). Having served a wide variety of product, market and customer needs - the VCS - has evolved into a field-hardened IP for video communications. The VCS encompasses several patented IPs that are specific to video communications. It contains several optimisations at BSP, codec and system levels to provide maximum performance and an unprecedented, immersive video-experience.
