Overview
Ittiam Systems' Video Solutions is a set of key video technologies tailored for various end-applications such as Portable entertainment, CPE devices, Wireless Handsets, Video Telephony, Video Conferencing, Video Surveillance and Broadcast Head End infrastructure. The product portfolio includes video codecs (encoders and decoders) for a variety of Video compression standards, along with video pre and post-processing components.
Based on Ittiams' proven C reference models, the components have been optimized to fully utilize the resources of processor cores and appropriate hardware video accelerators. The components are available on a range of Texas Instruments (TI) processors using the C64x+ DSP and ARM cores, and on ARM Cortex A8 and A9 cores.
The video component portfolio is supplemented with a comprehensive suite of system software for fast time-to-market of next generation, leading edge video products.
