Job Description:
|
Acoustics Engineer is responsible for exploring and developing differentiated algorithms in the area of Acoustic signal processing for Mobile, Automotive, Audio/Video conferencing and other hands-free communications. Besides algorithm developments, the engineer will also be responsible for delivery and tuning of the solution for different application use cases. The development platforms include Smart Phones and Video Conferencing platforms such as TI OMAP and ARM-Cortex A8/A9 devices

Educational Qualifications:
|
- Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics and Communications.
|
|
|
- Candidates must have in-depth experience in Audio signal processing development preferably related to Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC), Noise Reduction/Cancellation (NR/ANC), Automatic gain control (AGC) and signal Equalization.
- Industrial experience ranging from 2 to 7 years of which significant period must have been in algorithm development.
- Must have independently developed some signal processing algorithm from scratch.
- Should have exposure and development experience on DSP based platforms like TI Davinci / OMAP3, OMAP4 / ARM 11 / Cortex A8/A9.

- Candidate must have a strong mathematical and signal processing knowledge.
- Candidate must have working knowledge of ARM/ DSP architectures and optimization methodologies.
- Good knowledge and experience of Matlab Programming.
- Good programming and debugging skills and proficient in C and/or C++ and Assembly language.
- Good knowledge of DSP based embedded systems.
- Experience in Linux, GStreamer framework, Android multimedia architecture.
- Good understanding of Android SurfaceFlinger and AudioFlinger services is an advantage.
- Software Processes, Configuration Management, Test Planning and Execution.
