Mr. Krish Prabhu, CEO and President of Tellabs, heads the Advisory Board.

Krish Prabhu is Chief Executive Officer and President of Tellabs.

Krish started his career at Bell Laboratories as a member of technical staff.

In 1984, he joined Rockwell International’s Network Transmission Division, where he served as Sr. Director of Research and Development.

After Rockwell’s Network Transmission Division was acquired by Alcatel in 1991, Krish spent 10 years in various executive management positions with Alcatel. He was named Chief Operating Officer of Alcatel Telecom in 1999. Prior to that he served as Vice President of Business Development and Chief Technology Officer at Alcatel Network Systems, President of Alcatel Broadband Products for Alcatel Europe and CEO of Alcatel USA.

In 2001, Krish became a Venture Partner in Morgenthaler Ventures, a communications and information technology focused venture capital firm

Krish obtained his BSc (hons) degree in Physics from Bangalore University in 1973; MSc degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai (Bombay), in 1975; MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1977 and Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1980.
