Marc Guillaumet
VP Marketing

Marc Guillaumet is the Ittiam Vice President for Marketing and Head of Ittiam Subsidiary in Europe.

He brings in 15 years of industry experience in DSP engineering, business and strategic marketing.

Prior to joining Ittiam, Marc headed the Technology Licensing and Consumer Electronics Business Unit at Ateme, where he was responsible for marketing and business in strong relationship with Texas Instruments. He was part of the Ateme Executive Committee.

Detailed Profile
Marc Guillaumet joined Ateme in 1992 as an engineer, almost at the start of the company. At this time, the organization was focused towards engineering services for big Aeronautics and Defense firms in France.

He soon became Project Manager and then Program Manager and launched business for products in 1999. The product lines were mainly composed of development boards and audio and video compression algorithms for Texas Instruments' DSP. Marc also developed business outside of France and built a strong and reliable distribution network all over the world at that time.

During 2003-05, Ateme got a good traction in the products business and the video compression technology became strategic for the company. With this new dimension, Marc became Marketing Director and defined the strategy, associated product mix and took care of business development. He also managed the marketing, communication and applications teams.

In 2005, with the new focus of Video Security, Marc became Business Unit Director for Technology Licensing and Video Security. He was responsible for the strategy, marketing, application and development teams. He raised the business to be a very significant part of the overall turnover of the company and joined the new executive committee.

In 2006, he became Vice President and took care of the newly created Consumer Electronics Business Unit. He took care of the sales and marketing departments, both from a business and strategic standpoints.

Marc obtained an engineering degree from Sup'Aero, a highly renowned high school for Aeronautics in the south of France.
