Vikram Bose Vikram Bose is the Ittiam Vice President for Worldwide Sales. He brings in 33 years of industry experience in Engineering, Technical Sales and Strategic Marketing in the geographical regions of Europe, Japan and Asia. Prior to Ittiam, Vikram was the Sales & Marketing Director for TI's Semiconductor Business in ROA (Rest Of Asia) Region.
Detailed Profile In his 27 years of global experience with Texas Instruments, Vikram has had extensive experience in the areas of Applications, Technical Sales and Strategic Business Development. His highly successful career has taken him around the world; Europe (15 years), Japan (4.5 years), Hong Kong (2 years), and S/SE Asia with a base in Malaysia (5.5 years). In Europe and Japan, Vikram implemented unique and successful strategies for the penetration of TI's semiconductor products in the Television, Audio and Video customers. 1993-95, Vikram was based in Hong Kong leading TI's strategy in the Asia Region in Semiconductor applications for the Digital Consumer Segment. Most recently, (1995-2000), Vikram was based in TI Malaysia where he was responsible for the ROA (Rest Of Asia) region consisting of markets in Malaysia, Australia, NZ, India, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines. In this role he grew TI's Semiconductor revenues in ROA significantly over a 5 year period. He also initiated and led the DSP Universities Program for TI in S/SE Asia during this period. Vikram's product knowledge spans Discretes, Analog and Logic through to Asic, Micros, Chipsets and DSP, applied in the Consumer, Communications and Broadband segments. Vikram is an Associate Member of the IEE (AMIEE) having obtained a Higher National Certificate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birmingham (UK) Polytechnic followed by the Engineering Institutions (C.E.I. part 2) Certificate in Electronics, Communications and Control Engineering from the Cambridgeshire College of Technology in 1979. Prior to TI, Vikram worked at Revo-Relite Electric for 6 years comprehending an Engineering apprenticeship and then in ITTs TV division (ITT-KB) for just under 1 year. |
