Audio Software on TI C64x+ Devices

Overview

Ittiam's Audio offering on Texas Instruments' (TI) SoCs based around the TI C64x+ core includes a wide range of audio codecs and processing components for the communication, broadcast and entertainment markets.

Ittiam Audio encoders meet the key care about of broadcast applications: high quality, higher spectral bandwidth, low delay and reliability. The decoders are compliant to various broadcast standards such as ARIB, ATSC and DVB. The codecs have been system qualified in several end equipments in the consumer and enterprise segments.

Based on Ittiam System's field proven C reference models and tuned for the C64x+ architecture, the software achieves high performance and a low foot print while providing quality on par with floating point implementations. The audio components can be run on any TI C64x+ based device, and also support the next generation TI C674x DSP core.
