G.711

Ittiam G.711 is an implementation of the ITU-T G.711 recommendation. The encoder compresses linear PCM, sampled at 8khz using non linear quantization to 64kbs. Two companding laws are supported, A-law (European standard) and mu-law (US standard), are supported.
