Overview

Ittiam’s NMP320 Network Media Player delivers digital media streamed over home networks (wired and wireless) to consumer entertainment centers. NMP320 seamlessly bridges videos and music stored on the network with UPnP based automatic discovery and provides a friendly interface for aggregating and browsing available content.

NMP320 is a complete reference design offering an embedded software framework along with a hardware demonstration and application development platform. The reference system leverages Texas Instruments TMS320DM320™ processor to render emerging audio/video formats with support for Microsoft Windows Media DRM. The design provides CE manufacturers a cost efficient vehicle on which feature-rich digital media receivers and other entertainment applications can be developed in reduced time.
