Standard Acoustic Suite
Ittiam ACS standard offering includes state-of-the-art Acoustic Echo Canceller (AEC), Ambient Noise Reduction (ANR) and Automatic Gain Control (AGC) to enhance uplink and downlink speech quality. Audio playout level is controlled for speaker protection and compensates automatically for the changing background noise. Overall, ACS solution is aptly suited for the mobile environment and well tuned for different mobile use cases.
Beyond mobile phones, the solution targets desktop IP phones, tablets and laptops. It also supports Boombox application where an external loudspeaker can be connected to the mobile device for ease of communication and/or to enable multiple users to join the call.

Audio focus includes state-of-the-art audio beam forming technology which focuses on the target user and reduces all other background noise and interference. The standard solution supports two microphones. For devices with 3 or 4 microphones, custom solution can further enhance voice quality.

Audio focus can form simultaneous multiple beam, and can track an active speaker. Multi-microphone Beamforming can support large distance beam formation upto 5 meters and detect active user.

Audio focus technology with two or multiple microphones can also be used for car kits for hands-free communication in cars. The car kits are connected to mobile devices via Bluetooth. They include microphones and are connected to a loudspeaker for audio playout. Effectively they work as an audio front-end for calls on mobile devices and assist drivers and co-passengers with clear and easy communication with the outside world.
