Miracast, a new-age technology that allows the sharing of screen space wirelessly between two devices – with audio and video included – is set to ride a steep adoption curve.

The protocol uses a direct Wi-Fi connection between the two devices without involvement of a wireless router. This technology is increasingly in demand in the automotive infotainment sector.

Ittiam’s Miracast SDK enables wireless screen projection of a smartphone screen to an in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) Head Unit. It provides customizable remote input support framework to control the smartphone from IVI HU. We provide a customizable smartphone pairing app to enable ease of solution integration.
