BANGALORE, India, Feb. 3 — Ittiam Systems today announced that the company has successfully deployed a wide array of media processing and communication technologies in the explosive markets for Smart Phones and Tablets.

Founded in 2001, Ittiam has been a leading supplier of media processing and communication technologies for end products such as portable media players/recorders, digital camcorders, set-top-boxes, in-transport infotainment, IP video phones, video conference equipment, video surveillance and media broadcast systems. In the current financial year FY2010-11 ending on March 31, 2011 Ittiam would have close to six million high end smart phones and tablets sold by its customers that embed its multimedia technology for 720p high-definition video player and camcorder functions.
